  • • Press Enter to create a new line
  • • One subreddit/keyword per line
  • • Unlimited subreddits and keywords
  • • Don't include “r/” prefix

  1. 1. Find relevant post in “Recent Matches”
  2. 2. Click “🔗 Generate Link for This Post”
  3. 3. Enter your website URL
  4. 4. Click “🔗 Generate Trackable Link”
  5. 5. Copy → Paste in Reddit comment

• utm_source=reddit - Traffic source
• utm_medium=comment - Link type
• utm_campaign=subredditscout - Campaign name
• utm_content=subreddit_postid - Specific post

Google Analytics Setup

Finding Your GA4 Measurement ID

  1. 1.Go to Google Analytics
  2. 2.Click Admin (gear icon, bottom left)
  3. 3.Under Property, click Data Streams
  4. 4.Click your website's data stream
  5. 5.Copy the Measurement ID (starts with G-)
  6. 6.Paste in SubredditScout Configuration

Always answer thoroughly first. Add your link at the end as a bonus resource.

Establish your account with 500+ karma before sharing promotional links.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving email notifications?

  • • Check spam folder
  • • Try different email address
  • • Reduce “Minimum Upvotes” to 0
  • • Use broader keywords

No matches found?

  • • Try broader keywords
  • • Increase “Lookback Hours”
  • • Increase “Posts Per Subreddit” to 100
  • • Check subreddit spelling (no “r/” prefix)

GA4 not showing clicks?

  • • Verify Measurement ID (starts with G-)
  • • Wait 24-48 hours for data to appear
  • • Confirm people are clicking your links
  • • Check GA4 tracking code is installed
